Centre Update

We’re aware of the public concern surrounding the recent incident involving a pigeon inside a vacant tenancy at Pakenham Marketplace. We deeply appreciate the community’s care for local wildlife and understand the distress this situation caused.

While the pigeon is now safe and has rejoined two others in the common mall area, we acknowledge that we did not act swiftly enough when first notified. This was an error in judgement and we as Knight Frank Management accept full responsibility. We are working with a specialist at present to assist in safely removing the three pigeons from inside the centre.

Once the matter was escalated, immediate action was taken to release the pigeon. We are also reviewing our internal processes to ensure future incidents are handled with greater urgency and compassion.

We thank the community for their patience and ongoing support and remain committed to the wellbeing of all animals in and around our centre.
